Hi I am wondering if anyone taking Apixaban has experienced aching joints, breathlinness and fatigue . I posted on here a few months ago of similar symptoms but put it down to a virus as I started to feel better but now I am back to square one and feel it maybe down to Apixaban Thanks for Amy advice

What other medications are you on?

Are you in persistent AF or do you have paroxysmal AF?

I had similar side effects on apixaban along with urine retention and spiking high blood pressure. I didn't get breathlessness but was tired out all the time. Most people seem to tolerate it well but for me it was horrendous.

Good luck - I hope whatever you try next works well for you. There are some stories on here of people doing really well on riveroxaban having not been able to tolerate apixaban.

I was on it for my CV and was always tired. I blamed originally the Bisoprolol, but the tiredness disappeared two days after coming off the med.

I stopped apixaban due to tummy upsets. Changed to Edoxaban - only one a day, so more convenient. However tummy issues continue .
