At long last the day has arrived for my 2nd procedure, all packed and ready to go, booked in to Eastbourne D G H for 11am this morning. Will be pleased when it is all over and done with and hopefully get back to some semblance of a normal life.

It must be happening round about now, so when you read this you will wonder why you were so apprehensive! Onwards and upwards.

Thankyou all for your best wishes re Ablation 17/10/2016, feeling a bit like a train wreck at the moment , kept in overnight due to bleeding problems, have now been fitted with a plug in the groin area so hopefully on the up and up now, pleased with the results but have been told that this problem will re occur and will probably mean going down the pacemaker route, just to say that am pleased to have had it done and look forward to getting out and about with the Grandchildren again

Thank you for keeping us up to date.

It sounds as if it went well apart from the bleed and if they have learnt a thing or two during the procedure, you are now better informed and know the likely way forward.

Do take it easy and refrain from doing too much (with or without your grandchildren) for at least a couple of weeks!

Thanks Rellim for your advice and kind words, it's nice to know that there are others out there that have been through the same procedures and are sympathetic to how debilitating this problem can be even though sometimes you can go for a very long time without showing outward symptoms, once again many thanks for your kind words and thoughts , Tony.
