Diltiazem

Hello,

I had a PVI 12 months ago, and after initially taking Sotalol was changed to Diltiazem 120 twice a day.

This has worked quite well until about a week ago when I have begun to have what I can only describe as hot flushes after taking the meds and frequent visits to the loo. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Sounds like you may be back in AF? Why not see your doctor and get an ecg and some blood tests done?

I've Been on Diltiazem for almost 12 months - had flushes since 2 weeks after starting them. I hate them but looking at the possible side effects of alternative meds, I am sticking with the devil I know.

Meant to add that they have the exact opposite effect on my stomach.

Been taking Diltiazem for about two months now for aflutter. Must say my ectopics and randoms have been reduced to almost nothing. Have had no serious side effects from the meds.
