Mibi scan

Went for a mi I scan this morning and now they called me to say that I do not need to go for the rest mibi scan. Any idea why?

I would think it means they have all the information they need.

I agree - when I was having mine done (1st part) they told another patient she wouldn't need to come back as they had all the info they needed.

Just an amusing story about nuclear medicine scans. When first diagnosed with prostate cancer I had to have a bone scan to see if it had mastasised anywhere (it hadn't) so pitched up at the hospital where the injected me and told me to get lost for two hours. My wife and I went into Exeter town to window shop (I thought) . After a while we became aware that every shop we walked past the anti theft alarms went off. I found that I could dart into and out of every shop and leave the alarm screaming. What fun we had! They did give me a letter later in case I had to fly anywhere as apparently it also sets off metal detectors etc.

I have to admit I'd never heard of a mibi scan. Just looked it up and now know what it is. Sorry I can't help in any way.
