like others have said I cant tell you safely what to do. Im on Warfarin so cant take ibuprofen.
Pharmacy suggested to me I take juice of 1 lemon, spoon honey boiling water paracetomol and an anti histamine. It worked better than any over the counter medicine for a cold
Even if your not on warfarin ibuprofen is a no for AFers. Check this out.
Ibuprofin is a 'NO' for A-Fibbers? When I suffered a Tamponade after my end of April ablation - I was given Ibuprofin in high dosage 4 times a day, along with other medications for gout which was believed to reduce the fluid that was gathering around my heart from the puncture I suffered.
I had informed the doctors I did not take Ibuprofin as when I'd taken it previously, I experienced my blood pressure rising to over 200 and took myself to the emergency at the hospital where I was monitored and finall 6 hours later, given something to lower my BP.
Now I'm being sent for a test to see if my stomach is bleeding as I had lost all appetite and could not even stand the smell of food while in hospital.
I am to have a barium swallowing test tomorrow.
