Of course. I will be taking numbers nearer the time. I have today booked a twin room at Hyatt, (second mortgage taken out) so anybody need a bed and doesn't mind my snoring it is there for the taking.

Unfortunately I miss it this year, but well worth a trip.

I've booked, holding out for an AF-free night beforehand so I actually make it on the day!

I've booked to go but worrying how to get there from Oxford on a Sunday in time for early start.

Thinking I will need to travel day before if there is decent accommodation nearby.

Any advice welcomed.

There are several Premier Inns not far from the ICC. One is Broad Street / Canal Side and there's one in New Street station. I've stayed at the Brindley Place Premier Inn. It's hard to find, tucked away quietly off the beaten track. It's further away from the ICC but only about 10 mins walk.

There was some talk at the last gathering in London of an informal get-together in the afternoon of the 8th, so if you were to travel on Saturday that might be an added attraction, in addition to Bob's 'pink carnation' dinner.

I haven't booked for Patients' Day this year as I've been twice, but I will be there on the 8th and hope to meet up with various people.

I'm going to the Patients Day for the first time and also staying at the Canalside Premier Inn on Saturday night. Would be good to meet up with others at the evening get together so please add me to the list.

There's at least 8 or 9 from this forum who are staying up there. Quite a few in the Premier Inn Canal Side. Bob D organises a carnation dinner the night before and I suggested about meeting up early afternoon and quite a number have said yes. Details will follow.
