Saw my EP 3 months post ablation. All looking good so have been taken off the Flecainide for 2 months and if no problem I can then stop the Bisoprolol.
However, if any problems, I've to go back on the Flecainide and ring the AF nurse.
The EP said he may need to do some tidying up as they often don't stop it all the first time.
Have had a few extra beats popping up and the odd missed beat since stopping the Flecainide last week, but am remaining positive and ignoring it, unless it gets any worse.

This sounds good, Nannadee! Is there an addition to the family?
When I cut flecainide down from 100 x 2 to 50 x 2, I got AF four days later and someone (my GP perhaps - can't remember as we are going back a while) said that's how it often goes, so if you are already past four days it might be a good sign.
There is Rellim, I've now got a baby granddaughter. So I am kept busy, I'm probably doing too much as I have them both 4days and 2 nights a week, but even though I'm shattered, I love it. Xx
You will love it even if you're shattered. I had my grandson for 8 days and nights last summer when he was 18months old and his parents went on holiday and I loved every minute and didn't want to give him back. He's 2 & a half now and the baby is 9 months so it is harder, and the night feeds were hard but she sleeps through now, the worst part is that Jude is up at 5 30am so it's a long day. But I've had them both since they were born so know what to expect. So enjoy and be prepared to be worn out - but at least we can give our grandchildren back and recharge our batteries!!
