I interpreted your post as wanting info on cryoablation - hence my comment.

If you were wanting confirmation as to the procedure then if that's the way EP wants to go then go for it!!!

I had a cryoablation last October, under sedation and, touch wood, am still fine. Do remember to give yourself time to heal. I would have no worries about doing it again

Thanks everyone due to have it done 28th sept so quite a while to go yet waiting is the worst part will keep you in the loop

I had a cryoablation on 2nd December and have had no problems since. The procedure was strange, but not awful, and if I had to have it again I would not hesitate. There is lots of information on here about what goes on, but the two things that they did not tell me about, but which logically I should have expected, were the ice cream headache when they were working near the oesophagus and shivering.
