I had third ablation 9 weeks ago. Still got lots of tachy. Experiencing more Excessive sweating. Dripping hair. Its so embarrassing. Ladies are supposed to glow not have perspiration running down their face and dripping hair. Does anyone else get this. Had to take high steroids for 3 weeks for pericardial fuid but stopped 4 days now.
Any advice. Cold wet cloth around neck helps but not always practical.
My bet is that it was a side effect of the steroids, would also account for the tachybradycardia. How did you taper?
30,20, 10 over 3 weeks but did drop by 5 too to taper. I had a problem before steroids but worse now.
When out I always carry a large damp handkerchief in a ziplock bag and a mini fan. The hankie is better than wet wipes in mopping up and can be put on the back of the neck for a few minutes too. Hope it helps
