Hi. I am an NHS psychotherapist and would recommend Overcoming Anxiety by Helen Kennerley. This is based on tried, tested and proven techniques and is the book I'd always recommend to my patients suffering with anxiety. It is not specific for AF but covers everything needed to errrr overcome anxiety!

Hi. A friend of mine is a CBT therapist working in adult mental health and recommends some of the following web based resources for self help in managing anxiety. Thought they might also be useful.

Anxiety knocked on my door after my first a fib even 6 mo ago. I am just now beginning to get a handle on it, I think a combination of things has helped me. Ive totally changed my lifestyle, more rest, better diet, joined a gym( found out that didnt kill me really helped) and 2 weeks ago discovered mindfullness meditation. Downloaded an app called Headspace that I use everyday. A fib is staying away so far.
