York and Leeds AF Support Group Meeting 21st May, Nags Head, Askham Bryan, York.

Great session at the Nags Head. Many thanks to Muzahir Tayebjee, electrophysiologist, from Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) who entertained us, and stepped outside the box for, dare I say it, 4 hours of quite intense discussion. LGI have a very proactive programme going out into the community and spreading the word about atrial fibrillation and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). You can see by the picture that this is a very informal group who really try to give support. We welcome any newcomers to our next meeting on the 25th June at the same venue. Thanks Muz.

Dr Tyebjee, great chap. He performed An ablation procedure on me last week for AF. Good to hear you have a support group. Keep well!

Hi! Goldenslumbers.

One of the best. Hope all goes well with you. Rest is your main objective. That first 2/4 weeks is really important. I overdid it the first CA. The second CA I was a bitty more sensible despite the frustration. Be well. Dave.

Oh yes, It takes three plus months for the healing process. Pays to listen to your body. If you tire, rest!!
