since I have a field that's had its first going on three years and the longest I've gone without episodes is about 2 months but now I've been having it twice a week going to change back to my magnesium I've taken before Doctor's Choice chelation since when I'm riding my bike I don't get going to ace it only when I stop and cool down any advice on Audi not trigger an episode after bike rideplus I take magnesium Slow cal I just switch to that. I started on fish oilI'll check no drugs Pharmaceuticals I do not believe in any pharmaceutical drugs I tried them and it only made my condition worseI think the reason why I have a sub that's because I was given too many antibiotics in the hospital and developed Candida taken me 12 years to get it half way under control and it's still not under controlI think the I think the candida has reached my heartcausing afib . so now I'm constantly trying to kill off my Candida and control my afib at the same time. the giving me too many antibiotics in the hospital and I had inflammation of the lungs and they kept giving me antibiotics when the doctor came in in the morning I said why am I on antibiotics I have candida you can ruin my life he saidyou don't need antibiotics you have inflammationand I said why am I on antibiotics then for 24 hours you just ruined my life he said will take you off now I then said it's a little too late now isn't it

Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm sorry you are feeling so unwell - AF in itself is enough without having other problems to cope with. Modern medical thinking is that inflammation is a factor in causing AF, so antibiotics may be a necessary part of removing that inflammation and in turn helping your AF.

Sadly, as we know, AF normally is a progressive condition, and many of us take the drugs necessary to maintain our quality of life. Others opt for ablation and both therapies have their advantages and disadvantages but under the care of a good cardiologist or electrophysiologist, there is much to commend them. Magnesium and fish oil are also used widely - I have been taking fish oil life long - as is a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Have you seen a cardiologist or electrophysiologist as this may put your mind at rest regarding the antibiotics? There is also a lot of information on the main AFA website where you can download leaflets on practically every aspect of AF here:

If you have any questions, do ask as we are all here together to help each other.

Best wishes

Take a really strong probiotic to repopulate your gut after the antibiotics. 'Higher Nature' sell a good one (look them up on the internet). They also have a helpline you can ring to speak to someone who can advise on other products that should help the candida.

A good multi-vitamin-and -mineral for three months will also give your health a boost and help to decrease the inflammation.

Whilst in New Zealand I developed a serious and very uncomfortable dose of Candida and visited a natural health practitioner who I met quite by accident (I don't believe in coincidence so although a skeptic for once in my life listened!).

He prescribed a natural remedy which was the bark of a New Zealand tree and told me to stop consuming all dairy. I had to make the most foul tasting tea from this bark and drink it x3 a day - however - it worked! A week later completely cleared and never had candida again! Unfortunately I can't remembere the name but I will see if I can find it for you as I think I have seen it for sale in Europe.

Know this is a few days old but hope you are feeling a bit better.
