Aspirin post stroke is well known. It is just that as a prophylactic it has no use in AF treatment.

If we who are on an anicoagulant already, should be unlucky enough to have a stroke, do you think we should asprin as well? I have often wondered this. X

Joint therapy is quite appropriate in some circumstances, particularly for example when a patient has an artificial valve fitted. Horses for courses and your doctor will know.
