Now 10 months post-ablation, zero AF episodes and intermittent irregularities which gradually decreased until I only notice them very occasionally during the day and if I lay on my left side in bed. Still take diltiazem and Xarelto. That's all on the positive side. But I seem to be unusual in that even with anesthesia, I really suffered pain. I am still struggling with rare side effects: left leg pain and poor digestion. Overall, ablation was worth it.
