my husband has the highest dose of cardiverol, they now want to add digoxin. would he be better go straight to ablation

Hi Kenann,  There are some real reasons for caution using Digoxin in individuals with AF.  There is quite the controversy about it these days, so whomever prescribed it, is I hope familiar with all the risks vs. benefits in this situation and has thoroughly discussed it vs other options with you.  Is your husband under the care of a cardiologist or an electrophysiologist (EP)?   Has he been offered an ablation?  Lots to consider here, and without more information we can only suggest that you ask more questions to determine the best path.  Good luck!

Good answer and I cant add anything worth while. Many people feel that early ablation is a good thing but there are lots of factors to consider that we here can not judge.
