I used Chris Lang of Spire in Edinburgh. He changed my meds to great effect. Highly recommended.

There are 3 EPs at Edinburgh Royal, Chris Lang above, Colin Stirat and Neil Grubb. Dr Lang and stirat do private through aspire. I am under Dr Grubb who has a good reputation however Dr Stirat did my cryoablation as Dr Grubb ended up off with covid. Both are nice. For me as i am long term persistent afib cryoablation did not work and so I am now booked in for surgical TTM and the WMM in May and need to decide which one, neither offered in Scotland. Not sure what stage of afib you are at? Hopefully early and all 3 of those EPs can help

Hi Scott, I have been in afib constantly for at least 5 years. I wasn’t told about surgical ablation and researched this myself. Recent studies have found surgical ablation now it can be done minimally invasive rather than open heart to have significantly better results than catheter ablation. It is worth you researching. Have a read of Wolf mini maze sight as it’s a good website for info. There is a surgeon in the U.K. happy to chat.
