For your own peace of mind I think it would be best if you were to go to A&E especially as your heart rate is so high. 2.5 of bisoprolol will do very little.

Try to stay calm whilst you seek help.

Ring your emergency Telephone number. Always get to A and E if you are unsure. If you have no phone contactback here again with your name and address and any emergency number that you may have if you are in the UK and ask for someone on the blog to phone for you? Dave Mitchell.

Dear Boo, I I have been in similar situations with AF. Go to casualty (if you are unable to drive maybe friend, neighbour, taxi or ambulance) to ease your anxiety and as Jenny mentioned, to give you peace of mind.

All the best,

Musetta

Hope you are ok? I would dial the NHS 111 number and seek advice. Let us know how you get on please.

try not to panic- although your pulse rate is high you BP is fine- even though high for you personally=I think it's good to go to A and E so you can be monitored and also it will be easier to relax which will probably help things too

Being alone is always more worrying it's happened tome twice when my wife was away. I made it to a and e by taxi. Was released both times after my pulse and bp were back to normal. I'm getting more episodes now but they don't last as long but like a lot of us on here I try to carry on living but it is hard not to worry.

Good luck you are not alone we are all here for you
