After a Bypass OP

Having had chronic AF since 2008 and a single bypass and aortic valve replacement in August 2015 my physical recovery has been very good. Has anybody had the experience of the breakdown of a meaningful relationship over such a critical period? What was the effect on your AF, your other physical indicators and mental well being? How did you go about dealing with it?

You raise a very important issue. This has not happened to me over AF but it has nearly happened to me over another heath issue. In my case it is not 'the lack of a good man' but the difficulty of how ones life changes in relation to the health issue and the ability of the 'other' to cope with it.
