Good morning folks. The cardiologist this morning said that the need "more testing" at the hospital before they proceed. What exactly does that mean?

Thanks! I'm new on this journey.

You should have an echocaradiogram to check for any defects, thyroid blood tests, 12 lead ecgs and probably some blood tests for magnesum and potassium.

Have a look at CAREAF website for a good protocol.

It sounds to me like they are doing their job properly so relax. I had to go down the private route to get extra tests done so they had the full picture. Good luck.

I agree. They are doing they're job. They ordered the monitor and the echocardiogram today. Doc now suggesting it may be sleep apnea?

I have a feeling there are others on this forum who suffer with that - hopefully they will be able to provide you with support.

Take care
