Doctors these days love these low figures. 145/80 used to be considered good and frankly I would be happy with it but now they like 135/75 or better. My wife was always around 110/60 and perfectly healthy although it has gone up a bit since she started being a carer. So long as you don't feel faint when you stand up I wouldn't worry. If you do then talk to your doctor.
The top number is the pressure when your heart pumps and the lower number when it relaxes so all looks good I think!!
Many thanks Rosie it's just that the second fig in my case seems to be falling more than the first fig.
The difference between the 2 figures is called the pulse pressure- mine is often as high as yours!! I think they think ( googling this) there is something wrong if the difference is over 100!! but my take is that it's to do with getting older as the arteries get less elastic ( not medically qualified) I wouldn't worry unless you feel ill and then get checked out
If my BP is 135/60I am told that is perfect. Although I am on several meds and go to the Gym my BP is what they call labile ( which means all over the place ). but sometimes it is just right!!!!!
