Hello my first post. I am on these 2 drugs for 5 months, has anyone experienced muscle pain, fatigue on them?

I took 240mg Verapamil for 6 years and never had a problem with it, maybe the other drug is responsible?

Hi,

I was on Flecanide for a few years and they made me feel really sluggish and tired most of the time, I never had any energy. Thankfully don't take them now.

Many Dr's prescribe them as a pill in the pocket to help with arrhythmias and I think

some can get away with this med but a few of us obviously cannot.

Good luck in your journey.

Wendi

Flecainide can make you tired some days but that seems to have worn off after 15 months and by taking other supplements.

I don't think Verapamil will be the culprit. It has some side effects but rarely that. Never been on flecinide so will leave others to comment on it.

I am also on verapamil and flecanide as a pill in the pocket. I have terrible leg cramps most nights and jump out of bed in agony. I have put it down to the statins, never thought it could be the verapamil. The flecanide I don't take often enough for it to be the cause. Fatigue is no longer a major problem since swopping from Bisoprolol to verapramil.

I had those and it was found to be the Simvastatin that I was taking. Get a full set of blood tests done and also check your SpO2 levels daily.

I have had Verapamil for 5 years and no problems other than a slight adjustment of the dose once.

My husband is still on Flecainide, but he had cyroablation last week in the hope that he will be able to discontinue the its use when he has fully healed. Flecainide kept his heart rate too low as it was kicking in constantly to keep him from going into atrail fibrillation. He suffered from lethargy and his brain also doesn't function well when his heart rate stas below 55 - which is what Flecainide did. He also learned after the ablation that the EP alos found atrial flutter and ablated that too. Now he seems to have a more stable and higher heart rate and the flecainide is not as much of a problem. His blood pressure is still too low sometimes, but he may just need more time for healing so that returns to normal.

I took Verapamil 240mg for 11 or 12 years. It and Losartan are only two that did not give me any side effects.
