Finally got my date for CRT-D and so pleased as these past weeks not been well at all. August 13th cant come quick enough. Know I will have regular af episodes before then but just learnt to go to bed and have a sleep. Usually works. If not wait three hours then off to ae. Over a year of tests, hospital visits, and its finally here x

Sorry what is CRT-D? Not a term I am familiar with.

Hi BobD its a pacemaker with a built in defibrilator as my heart goes from one extreme to the other. So the pacing helps when it goes too slow and the defibrilator will shock it when it goes too fast.

Sounds scary to me. Wouldn't want a shock when I was doing something delicate. Might spoil my day. lol. Good luck and thanks.
