Hi

I had a cryogenic ablation a year ago and I don't have A.Fib any more and feel on top of the world.

Occasionally I feel extremely tired like I did with the A.Fib and know not to overdo it

I did have an enlarged atrium does this return to normal after the A.Fib has gone, could this cause the tiredness?

Chris

Hi where did you have your op?

Enlarged atrium can return to normal size once you're free of AF.

You won't know for sure unless you have a echo or MRI I suppose.

Are you on beta blockers? They are the usual culprit for tiredness.

Oddly I had a cryro-ablation a years ago as well and get periods of a week or two when very tired, then a couple of weeks where I hardly need to sleep. I hadn't put this down to the ablation before but maybe there is a link. If you find one please let me know :-)

I also have an enlarged atrium but that's due to my heart attack so will never recover.

Not what you're looking for?
