Husbands back in af after successful cardioversion three weeks ago. Can't believe it after finally getting back to normal after months of him being unable to work. Is there any point going to gp/a&e? He's on highest dose of flecanide and bisophorol so we're back to square one 😢😢

Next step is ablation. Go see the EP asap.

Now you know that his ticker can be kicked back into NSR, so that's good. So it may be :'( at the moment, but it could be :-) eventually.

Like Bob said, I'd go see my EP as soon as poss.

Oh, so disappointing, but as Koll says it's a good sign that he's had 3 weeks of NSR. I would see your GP asap and get an ECG done at the same time, to show what the heart is doing, just in case it goes back to normal. Ask for a copy of it and take it with you to show the EP. And see if your GP will send off a request to the EP to bring forward any ablation offered.

Perhaps some research to see which EPs have a short waiting list might pay off, although someone on the forum might have some info.
