Stopping Flecainide prior to Ablation

Well Ive stopped Flecainide prior to having an ablation next Tuesday.

Hope my heart behaves now its like living with a time bomb inside my chest. Afraid to go out or sleep. Im so tired.

Hi Jo. I am trying to think of the future. Just wish someone could give a guarantee all will be ok. Am trying to think positively. Bag packed cupboards full of food and house thoroughly cleaned. Hope its a breeze 💖

I had my ablation 3 weeks ago, I was really nervous but there was no need to be,I'd have it done again tomorrow if I had to. Good luck I'm sure you'll be fine.

I had to stop flecainide and had exactly the same concerns as you. Nothing bad happened between stopping and having the procedure. I understand the time bomb thing and your mindset only too well.

You will soon be through it and out the other side of your ablation. Concentrate on your new found health post procedure. Soon be over with now. Big hugs.

hi I take fleconide, I have been having the fluttering and spots in front of the eyes well before the second dose due. I have had 3 ecgs in the past 2month and guess what, I had no palpitations on those days, nurse said oh its fine. I've got to the point of thinking they don't believe I get it as much as I do.

Keep onto them if its making you concerned. We know how we feel better than them.
