Wow Bob, I dared you to post one and you took up the challenge I should known you aren't a man to be messed with lol. Well I have to say you look very much a Jason King lookalike. Straight out of a 70's movie, pose and all. Can see why Mrs D was captivated!

Does anyone else out there have the nerve to post a picture of themselves in the 70's to give us all a smile. Thanks for the morning cheer Bob.

Dee

Brilliant photo Bob. As Dee says, you're a dead ringer for Jason King, who incidentally is the reason I am named as I am. My Mum wanted me to be a Brendan, but my Dad loved the TV show.

Wow! Brilliant idea to post pictures of us in the 70s but it could take a while for me to master the technology involved! X

It was the car which started my association with Alfa Romeo in 76. We ran the car in Monsieur Worth (aftershave) colours in 77 for John Lyon and won a lot of races in production saloon series.. In 78 we ran it with Napolina sponsorship for Jon Dooley and that led to me running the British Alfa Romeo Dealer Team in British Touring Car Championship first with 1300 Alfasud (class winner in 81) and then GTV6 (class winners 84 and 85. ) Finally stopped race prep at the end of 87 so I would be at home occasionally to have a family. Never stopped playing with cars mind and still building race engines and restoring some old race cars. My boys are following me with rally and drifting a speciality of the house.

I borrowed a new 1.4TB Sportiva a few weeks ago and hated it I'm afraid . Not even half the car my 166 is but that is now 15 years old and parts are getting hard to find.

Excellent pic Bob and a definite Jason King lookalike, as others have said already, interesting career you've had too.

Best regards.
