6 Weeks 5 Days.....

Hi all,

Just thought I'd post an update.

I jokingly suggested a bet with my partner, Gill, to see if I could smash my 6 week record of staying in Sinus. I managed it......... then 5 days later went back into AF.

Fortunately, despite being a nasty episode, it was my shortest, lasting just under 3 hours. I clicked back into sinus as quickly as I went out.

Question: Does anyone else get pains a day before, during and for a day or two following an episode? The best way I can describe it is that it's like an orange being squeezed for about 10-15 seconds and then releasing. It's usually pretty mild but this time felt a little stronger. The pain seems to come in waves, sometimes every few minutes and then there may be a break for halk an hour or even an hour or two, then it comes back.

I got checked out at hospital yesterday. My ECG was fine, (for me, lol) and bloods normal. I had an Angiogram 18 months ago and there are no blockages. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Nigel

I had an ablatio neight months ago And had similar symptoms to you. Despite being af free I still get the same chest pains on and off. My Dr thinks that they are caused by oesophageal spasms and the pills he has given me certainly stop them. I can't help wondering whether in my case they triggered the a F. They probably didn't but we are all different.

I have never had pain, but I know of several people who do, had investigations with no known cause. But you are not the only one to report pain.
