Have you had a lot of ECGs done and ambulatory monitors? Have you seen an EP or cardiologist regularly? From what i understand, WPW shows a very specific sort of wave on an ECG and if you have had monitors on during episodes i am sure this would have been seen. Not that i am an expert but a girl i work with has WPW and it was picked up on a 24 hour monitor. She generally has very few symptoms and so they are not treating it as yet.

I have WPW and had no idea I had it, I thought everyone's heart did that jig! I also discovered I have AF but I can't really tell the difference between them, I must admit I don't really pay much attention to the difference in heart beat. I have had two ablations, but still not fixed so I am going for a third one in Feb to see if I can get it gone for good. I am slightly freaked as I am currently on 100mg flecanide twice a day and 360 if dilitazem and I have to stop these two weeks prior to the ablation. Should be a very interesting ride for those two weeks.

I had WPW from the age of nine. This developed into heart block so had a pacemaker fitted. Then had an ablation which stopped the WPW. Developed AF 18 months ago and had a successful ablation for this in July. Just waiting to see what happens next !!!
