TOE next Wednesday, pre-op on 1st Dec. and ablation on 5th Dec, needless to say I am sooo nervous but hoping it 'sorts' me out.
Finally have ablation date: TOE next... - Atrial Fibrillati...
Finally have ablation date
Like you I was "soo nervous." Th e unknown is always worrying . Bob had said that canal root dentistry was worse and I reasoned that if people were having the procedure 4 or 5 times then it couldn't possibly be that bad. Nobody is going to willingly submit to anything awful more than once.
You get to the stage when you realise that the AF is a major nuisance and is ruining you quality of life. Ablation is an opportunity to improve things. If you don't try it then you will regret it for the rest of your life.
Go with the flow. Try to stay calm. Be organised before it because you will need to take it easy for some weeks.
Best wishes.
You will be fine. Take it easy afterwards though.
Hi...
I endorse what Jennydog and Bob say....Ablation is not without risk or discomfort and in my own case recovery is slow but getting stronger as the days and weeks go by...
I would certainly choose the Ablation route again without any fear of consequences...
