Following last weeks DC cardiversion in resus, 7am this morning I started again. Not the same as the previous 5 times, low level fluttering. No other symptoms. Felt lousy all day but not lousy enough to do anything about it. Taken my meds as normal and my warfarin etc.... really don't want to have to go through another Cardioversion.... but in 14 hours the fluttering hasn't really settled for more than a few minutes.

I'll keep you posted!

Such a worry and so frightening for you. This website is such a comfort as everyone is out there to support you and think of you. Be strong.

Sending hugs Jed, it's a real pest when it won't settle down. I hope it does soon!

Oh dear, you aren't getting much peace just now. Hope it settles soon and your medics can sort this out for you. You can't go on like this. Thinking of you.

Dee.

Well - turns out I visted the ED on Friday morning 7am and was in fast AF again. They were very reluctant to commence cardioversion as it has only been 6 days since the last one, luckily a dose of 5mg bisoprolol managed to revert me back to NSR with a HR of 72 resting.

I was home by lunch!

That's great news. I hope that you manage to stay AF-free until you see your EP.

KED sorry to hear that hope all is great soon. It's so disrupting to your life. We have 240 thousand people in Australia with AF now. Some one said the Mediteranian diet cuts AF by 38 % is this true. Does anyone know ????
