Sorry its me again, I just wondered if anyone has had this happen to

them. When I got af it maybe happened every week or so that I was

aware of but after wearing the holter I was having attacks I was unaware

of. I knew there was something going on but couldnt work out what.

My query is this my af use to last 1 or 2 hours sometimes 3, 4 or more,

but now it comes in short runs throughout most days and other funny

things going on as well. I just wondered why its changed and is this

usual. Shirley.

Basically Shirlygirl this is normal AF begets AF so the more you have it the more you will get it. This is why so many EPs recommend early ablation to nip it in the bud before it gets a real hold. Drugs may control some of the symptoms for some of the time but nothing is fool proof for ever.

Hi Jo, Thanks so much for reply, it helps to know others have the

same thing. I agree that its easier to cope with than prolonged

single episodes if you know what I mean, but as it lasts so long

overall ie short runs lasting all day I guess we end up the same.

Hope that makes sense. Shirley.
