I had 6 years in nsr after my first ablation, but after my second ablation 9wks ago I'm getting af everyday for anything between 10min and 1hr!!! Really down cause I'm normally a fit 35yr old guy. Ps don't drink booze or caffeine or smoke!
Still getting af attacks after ablation - Atrial Fibrillati...
Still getting af attacks after ablation
sorry to hear this Karser I dont smoke or drink either and although I'm 61 I am physically fit for my age and so I know how frustrating it can be when you have an op and expect it to work, did the hospital not give you a phone number to call if you have problems? I'm sure there are loads of people on here that can give their experiences. I hope things settle for you. I have not had my ablation yet and I'm not looking forward to it at all!
Hi 9 weeks is still early days, have you had an ECG? It could be atrial flutter rather than AF. Have you spoken to any professionals at all. Is there an arrhythmia nurse you could speak to? In your shoes I would see my dr.
Good luck and try not together too stressed as that certainly won't help

I'm currently wearing a 3 day monitor, have been took to A&E a good few times, which lead to me get my meds upped, the problem is these episodes are short so I'm normally in nsr at the doctors, I've never had much good luck with flecainde, but they keep saying they won't change it!
