I have PAF and take Prodaxa And Sotalol. When I go out in the evening pub or party I feel incredibly hung over in the morning and shattered. I don't drink alcohol and I was the same when taking Warfarin. This happens every time, if I stay in and watch telly I am fine next day. Does this happen to you or have you found something that stops it from happening or do you know why it happens. I could understand if I drank alcohol . Your answers would be appreciated.

Morning after the night before.......
I'm on warfarin small dose of bisoprolol and flecanide and I wake up every morning feeling hung over! If I have a very rare glass of wine it's even worse. By mid morning I'm fine again though.x
I am glad it happens to somebody else, thanks for sharing. I put it down to just being on my feet for longer than if I was at home.
I think it is probably as you say, being on your feet longer. The warfarin doesn't make you tired but I have never taken sotalol so can't comment on that.

Could it be nervous energy that leaves you feeling drained? I find that if I use a lot of energy (whether nervous or physical) one day, then I can feel tired the next. It's as though I can only use up so much energy and then I need to rest and build my levels up again. Just a thought.
It's not just lack of energy. You feel like its a bad hang over with all the trimmings without being given the opportunity of having alcohol.
I have never had a problem with warfarin been on it since 1992 but I am on 2 x 80 mg sotalol and that has made me lack energy. I do wake with shocking headaches but I have a lung condition too that can bring them on.
I can drink alcohol but not a lot as it does make me ill.
That's the dose of Sotalol I take too, I have been on it from 2005. Have u asked for an alternative drug due to the tiredness ?
