NRI levels have been 2.5 for 4 mths however my last test yesterday indicated 3.8 why should this be? no lifestyle changes have been made.

I am 70yrs and male, pretty fit exercise 4/5 per week, (weights and cardio) have done for over 30yrs. Gave up alcohol when I was diagnosed with AF and went on warfarin. I watch my diet (not eaten meat for 30yrs) I have no other health problems only eratic heart rate.

Mine does this occasionally for no reason and I just eat extra green veg which seems to bring it down by the next day (I self test)

best wishes

Same here I use it as an opportunity to eat lots of green veg and salad that are usually a little restricted. That is the beauty of self testing.x

Mine's gone up and down for no identifiable reason, but not that high I must admit. 3.3 was my max and it suddenly shot up to that in a week. Also been down to 1.6 without a change in dose! Just make sure you have a test arranged soon, don't let them leave it for a month like they tried to with me.

Have you cut down on the dark leaf veg and moved to more salads? The Dark veg do tend to knock the INR down.

This happens to me also occasionally, usually in either the spring or autumn. No apparent reason, it just does it.
