Hi pip, I live in Area too. I am so pleased to read about this meeting. I will be going. I so need all the advice I can get. I don't know where that is or what time. Maybe you could email me more details. I so need this. I had a TIA and a lacunar stroke caused by this condition PAF in October 2012 the day after my 58th birthday and I'm no further forward today. I'm on loads of medication, but still not well. I'm getting no where fast with my GP and the hospital in the town the meeting is. They just won't take this condition serious. Would so love to meet up with someone who knows what it's like to have this too.

Lynne

I would strongly suggest you get your GP to refer you to Dr Jack Mcready, who is a consultant electro physiologist working at Brighton Hospital but also sits at Worthing Hospital on referal. I was particularly referred over to him by my consultant at the Heart Hospital in London (when i moved down here) because he studied and started there. Good man

Thank you so much for this information. I will see if I can get an appointment with him soon. Then maybe I can get my life back and no feel so poorly all the time.

Yes .. Jack McCready is the man! He performed my 1st ablation at The Heart Hospital in London in 2009 and two more subsequently in Brighton. He is the the EP that patients are normally referred to in the Worthing area unless of course they express a different wish as they have a right to . He is a very experienced EP & highly regarded. Hi pip. .. Yes I intend to go as well. See you there! Sandra

Hi, No. I was the guy in the long coat who left first. Very poor. I was quite annoyed. Disappointing.
