Headaches.

I seem to be having a few headaches and the odd pains down the side of my neck and also in my head at different places. does anyone else have the same ?

I often wake up with a headache, done checks with my BP that seems ok.

Hi Christo4 Have been getting pains down back of neck last week or so can,t tell if it,s medication or because i,m decorating.no headaches yet.

I had to stop Simvastatin because of head and neck aches! (Just had to start again, with another type of statin, because my cholesterol has gone up!).

Hard to tell really unless it continues. Could be anything!

I am finding warfarin gives me small headaches (nothing major though).

Hi there,

I've been experiencing this for a couple of months now, but had a really bad night with aches and pains last night, and am waiting for a GP to call me back, as it is still happening now.

Reading about Koll's experience with Simvastatin I took a closer look this morning because the latest supply were from a different maker, different colour box, tablet, shape and size, although still stating the dose as 40mg.

I was tempted to head for A&E, but I'll wait now and see what the GP says. I already suffer a bit with arteritis' but never anything this bad that came on so suddenly.

I'll let you know what they have to say.

I should add I've been on Simvastatin for several years now, before AF was diagnosed, and Bisoprolol, Lostarten and Warfarin have been added since.

Dear Christo4, a few months ago, I kept suffering with headaches and pain extending into the left side of my neck, plus odd pains in my head. This lasted a couple of weeks, and then intermittently over another week. Medics never commented on this and since then it has all settled down. I am not sure what the underlying cause was, stress, not sleeping well, part of AF? Hope things improve for you soon.

Still get these pains in my head I'm going to put up with it for a week or two if its still going on after that then I will go to my Dr's again.Did you see my other post ?
