Is flecanaide making my asthma worse...? Had to stop verapamil and beta blockers Fed up now

I just Googled it and there were a couple of hits. I'm sure it would be worth going to your doctor and mentioning it... Don't let it get you down - sending hugs.

I sympathise with you Sandie. AF and Asthma/copd do not mix happily. You don't know whether to take the reliever inhaler and get the increased heart rate, or struggle and suffer trying to breathe.

Beta blockers are definitely a no go for Asthma sufferers. I was told in hospital it was the only thing for AF and took sotalol for a week and landed back there as an emergency admission with heart block.

I have found that Diltiazem does not conflict with my Asthma regime. Fingers crossed I am having a good "run" at the moment. Do ask if this would suit you. Best wishes.

Sorry to say that a lot of heart tablets do this I was but on 3x 80mg sotalol and my fingers went blue. Moved to 2 x 80mg now breathing not good but I have lung problem too. See your doctor or cardiologist and see if they can put you on another we are all so different to the way we are affected by the same drug.
