i have been placed on Warfarin and i keep getting this feeling of being really cold and keep getting pain in my foot is this normal
I think I have felt the cold more (started on Warfarin in August) and others have said the same. I haven;t heard of pain in the feet - have you been put on other medication at the same time as you started Warfarin? have you knocked your foot without realising?

I'm with Rosy, the cold yes I certainly feel colder this winter than ever have before, and this is someone who usually sleep with the windows open in winter (not this year) but the foot is unlikely to be anything to do with warfarin unless you have knocked it.
Even if you had, it would be the bruising you notice not pain, that's almost certainly something else.
I watched the Rugby today, and was thinking if I did that now, I would end up literally black and blue all over, there you go another career closed to me

If only. The darned hot flushes form my hormone treatment (Prostate cancer) means I ma roasting most of the time.

ive been on warfarin for 2years now an still feel very cold in my hands an feet, as i work out doors im dreading this winter, trying to find a job indoors, i dont over heat in summer time , very strange?
Yes, I'm another one who feels the cold dreadfully since starting warfarin. In the mornings when I get up from bed I now put on two dressing gowns - makes me feel a bit like a 'bag lady', but do you know what 'I don't care'. I've also bought several pairs of mens fleecey trousers from M&S to wear indoors, they're about £15, would recommend as they're so snuggly and warm. Then I finish off with a thermal t-shirt fleece jumper and thermal socks. I don't get any pain from taking warfarin, but do get aches low in my legs when I'm sitting. Not sure if that's caused by my warfarin or amiodarone.
'Morning! My log delivery is arriving soon and I have on....2 pairs woolly socks, tights which I hate, jeans, two long sleeved tees and a monster of a jumper....and it's nowhere near freezing! Have a cosy day x
Yes, I'm having trouble with my feet in two respects. One, they're getting bigger quite quickly (costing me a fortune in shoes), and I've got severe pain in the heels, particularly one side. But we think it's Plantar Fasciitis. I wouldn't have put the pain down Warfarin, but with my feet getting bigger I am wondering what's going on. And I'm on no other medication.
Not relevant probably, but just mention it in case. I was on statins. Took myself off them a few months back and since then my neck pains, golfers elbow and tennis elbow have all faded away. Again not certain it was statins but looks fairly likely.
I have to say that I love the autumn and winter weather and dread the summer heat, as a rule. I have right-sided AF and left sided Diastolic Heart Failure. I was put on Warfarin in 2006 ('whether I liked it or not' according to the Cardio Registrar, responsible) and take other meds. But I have always had a dodgy thermastat, according to my Mum, as I also have an Congenital Under-active Thyroid Gland, that I would be in my pram in winter's cold weather, sweating buckets. I can't really say I feel colder but when I'm in bed my feet do feel uncomfortable.

I live in Wrexham, but I was born and raised here as well, marrying in 1981 and going to live in Stoke on Trent, where my daughter Sian was born and we came back in 1998. Unfortunately, I don't speak Welsh, just certain words but more since Welsh has enjoyed a comeback since the Assembly Government was started up.

I have always had cold feet even before I was on warfarin so I must admit I haven't ben aware of any difference. A few aches and pains in my ankles but statins are the main suspect there.
