I understand you feelings

I think you need to treat your anxiety since it will make your episodes worse , I'm having zanax for short term to help my managing anxiety during bad days

Anxiety for long term will cause panic attacks where the symptoms are really not far from AF attacks

Try to seek for help for anxiety and ignore it , it is quite common in our cases

Oh Moggdog, feel so sorry that you are having such a bad time. Anxiety and panic attacks are truly awful, you really do not know what to do with yourself in such circumstances I know from experience. Many forum members often suggest trying yoga others mention acupuncture and others meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help.

I guess your EP will offer a further ablation based on your heart symptoms and when they feel it is best for you.

You are having to deal with emotional and physical symptoms which although one is clearly impacting on the other your EP will make a clinical decision on your heart symptoms first and foremost. You may need support from others for the emotional impact which brings their own physical accompaniment like nausea and exhaustion. Do you have a sympathetic GP you could you speak with or an Arrhythmia nurse attached to your cardiology department.

Best wishes

Dee.

Hi Mogdogg - Really feel for you. Has your EP actually said you will have to wait 9 months for another ablation? Also, how about going to your GP and telling him about your anxiety issues, then perhaps he could prescribe something to help.

Hope you soon feel better.

Hi moggdog

I know how you are feeling as I have suffered from anxiety myself. I went to a yoga class and also a mindfulness meditation course. The breathing exercises are wonderful for calming you down and slowing your heart rate. You can buy cds online for mindfulness meditation which would help you relax, and you could probably find a yoga class near you.

Best wishes
