Hi.

There are three new anticoaulants now available. Rivaoxaban which I take, not had any trouble with it, Apixaban and Dabigatran. Not sure how they would react with alcohol though as I don't drink any.

Ask your GP.

Regards

Dee.

I'm on warfarin since 2000 without any problems at all , I just take it and forget about it

Used to test the INR monthly

My life style is stable and like major changes in my diet

I'm really surprised why you are so worried about it , it is nothing really

Forget it and thank god it is protecting our lives , I feel save taking my daily dose since I have metal heart valve an addition to AF from time to time

Relax and enjoy your life and forget about it :)

Regards

I can relate to your post, I too was on Warfarin for some time and it gave me all sorts of niggly problems the main one being Diahorrea, I asked for an alternative and was put on Sinthrome. I have felt much better since. I hope you are able to sort yourself out soon. good luck
