CARDIO VERSION /EPILEPSY CAN ONE AFFECT THE OTHER ??

I AM SCEDULED IN THE NEAR FURURE FOR A CARDIO VERSION DOES ANY ONE NO IF THIS COULD TRIGGER EPELEPSY .I HAVENT HAD A SEIZRE FOR 14 YEARS AND WORRY THAT IT COULD COME BACK .i PREVIOSLY WENT 25 YEARS AND THEN HAD 3 GRAND MAL .BUT I AM FINE AT THE MOMENT AND WOULDNT LIKE TO GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN .THANK YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL LOVE POPPY STOREY

I am unsure whether undergoing a cardioversion procedure would trigger your epilepsy, especially if it is well controlled by medications. However, if you are concerned, please talk to your cardiologist. He will have experience of performing cardioversions on those with other pre-existing medical conditions and will be able to reassure you.
