I am interested in hearing from anyone, or knows someone, that has participated, or is going to paticipate, in this drug's phase 1 clinical trial.

I am very interested in this trial drug as my oncologist ikes AMG509, which is already in phase3 but has some really bad common side effects. From what i read Janux007 med has a "mask" design component that supposedly reduces the side effects.

What did they tell you about side effects and was it hard to get into this trial? Its phase 1 so did they tell what dose level you would be getting? Where are you taking this?

By the way, saw in your bio you wre/are taking colostrum. My previous oncologist Dr Myers warned against colustrum as 2 of his patients taking it found their Pca's got much more aggressive and he couldnt find a way to reverse this effect.

Would like to stay in touch.

Best Luck

Just wanted to pop in and say I’d be very happy to stay in touch. I’ll make a proper reply when I get more than a couple minutes but wanted to atleast let you know that I read it.

I’m participating in the phase 1 at Yale with Dr. Kim . It’s the most excited I’ve seen him for a trial for me. He held one spot for me, so it does sound like it’s tough to find a spot. It’s going to require overnight hospital stays for monitoring over the first month. I was told to clear my calendar.

Side effects: I was told to expect to feel really shitty in the beginning It’s immuno therapy so I’m expecting, fever, chills, flu like symptoms

Expectations: I’m told the early results have been outstanding, but with all things cancer, it depends on the person. I’m hoping for a good response

Anytime my man. I’ll stay in touch and let you know how I do. I’m here at the hospital doing all the prep, just heads up, it is a lot. Scans today, next week I have apts almost every day and then the trial which can be min one month off the grid. I’d be lying if I said that I don’t have mad anxiety over it, but when the alternate choice is death, it kinda takes care of itself. TTYs. Have a great new year.
