found this graph online, has anyone been treated in this way? Here in Italy, most oncologists when ABI or ENZA fail rarely try it again and this is perhaps a big mistake because after chemo they could work again at least for a few month, keeping the disease stable and allowing the body to detoxify from the chemo, then when they begin to fail we start again with the chemo and so on. It's probably all a question of costs, here in Italy there is no insurance for patients do not have to pay anything and perhaps this is precisely why we save on therapies. They are very expensive therapies and perhaps the state cannot afford them for everyone.

speranza10, Thanks much for posting the graph. After the 1st of the year, I'll be doing a re-challenge of abiraterone and my looking closely at the graph gives me more hope that the re-challenge will be successful. I'd like to have a copy of the graph in better resolution to show my oncologist. So if possible please post a link to the original. Thanks , Leps
I'm glad it was helpful to you Leps, I hope abiraterone works for you! Never lose hope, you have to try everything against this disease
Instead of trying again with abiraterone you could try with erleada (apalutamide) in that graph you can't see it because it probably wasn't available yet. Sooner or later I suggest you try it, it could work. Maybe you can do a new challenge with zytiga now then repeat cabazitaxel and then try with apalutamide. I know perfectly what you are going through, unfortunately I went through it with my father. I wish you and your family the best.
the important thing is not to do two hormone therapies in sequence but it is better to alternate them with chemo, by doing so you get the best benefit from the drugs.
