PSA 5.6 Gleason 3+4 though oncology states is unfavourable due to the number of positive cores on both sides

Bone scan positive for Mets to both ribs but am going for a Psma pet as drS Say unlikely with such a low psa. ?

A PSA value of 5.6 is more than suffisant for a PSMA PET.

I had Gleason of 4+3 and PSA of 8. Bone scan showed up hot spots and I went for PSMA scan.

Showed mets in skull, ribs, hips. pelvis. PSA does not seem to be a very accurate guide in some cases.

Have the scan and see what is offered. I went onto ADT with Abiraterone and Prostap, which kept PSA as unmeasurable, but after 4 years the side effects got pretty unbearable, so I am having a break and feel much better.

farmer by trade with hypertension and high cholesterol medical conditions

Would love to hear all thoughts on treatment if cancer is in ribs as stated on bone scan

Thank you for the quick response. If you should have Pca (hopefully you don't) then post again and request responses to any or all of your questions. Bless you especially a farmer (the country needs you).

Note: Good idea to copy your history from your post above and paste it in your bio. Add to it if you wish.
