I'll be moving to Scottsdale AZ in a few months. I see multiple cancer centers in the area: Mayo, Banner MD Anderson, City of Hope, etc. Does anyone have recommendations for the best MO's and RO's out there?

I go to City of Hope in Goodyear(Southwest of Scottsdale) I see Dr Bryce. He is awesome and up to date on all treatments old and new. The entire team at COH as well as he facility itself are fabulous

My husband consulted Dr. Rigema (RO) at Mayo last year. We had good recommendations for him. I liked him a lot. We decided not to go to Mayo as my husband didn't want to travel from CO to AZ for treatment.

My husband sees Dr. Alan Bryce at City of Hope in Goodyear. He's very good. He was at Mayo and moved to City of Hope almost a year ago and my husband transferred his care to City of Hope to remain with Dr. Bryce.

I remember your saying Dr Bryce moved there. It sounds like you made a very good decision. Best of luck.

My husband sees Dr Gordon Grado at SW Oncology in Scottsdale. He is an excellent RO , super brilliant, expert in Brachytherapy ( even cured himself) We winter there and even see him in MN as he used to work at the U of M and Mayo. He”ll take as much time with you. as you want, his radiation team is first rate too! Highly recommended

I went to Mayo and felt I was finally going to have a team. Social person was great, but had many scheduling screw ups.

Hi

I am not as advanced as you but I have been getting treatment at MD Anderson in Gilbert. My MO is Dr Bryan Wong and RO is Dr Yerko Borghero. I checked out Mayo but they are out of network for my insurance. I have been pleased with MD Anderson so far very efficient and move very quickly on treatment. I am still in the whole process but feel it is a good place and they know what they are doing.
