Just had my scan on 9/17/24, prior to my scan my PSA was 0.80. I'll be speaking with my MO on 9/23. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks
EXAM DESCRIPTION:
18F-piflufolastat (PYLARIFY) PSMA targeted PET/CT
COMPARISON:
PET PSMA dated November 7, 2023
INDICATION:
History of prostate cancer status post prostatectomy (2017) with slow elevation PSA level to 0.7.
FINDINGS:
Physiologic distribution of tracer is seen in the salivary and lacrimal glands, liver, spleen, ganglia, bowel, kidneys and urinary tract.
Evaluation of the prostate bed: Status post prostatectomy. No focal area of increased uptake in the postsurgical bed.
Evaluation of lymph nodes: There are no PSMA avid lymph nodes.
Evaluation of skeleton: Similar focus of minimally increased PSMA uptake within right 1st anterolateral rib with underlying mixed sclerosis (SUVmax 2.3, previously 3.0).
Evaluation of the rest of the body: No abnormal PSMA uptake
IMPRESSION:
1. Slight interval decrease in PSMA uptake within the right 1st anterolateral rib, which likely represents focal fibrous dysplasia.
2. No new PSMA avid lesions.
