Retrograde and PCa

Gents, what is the thought on retrograde ejaculation and its connection to our cancers?

Is the retrograde caused by the disease or the actions we take to manage the disease?

Has anyone been able to rectify the retrograde?

Thanks for any input,.

If you are taking an alpha-blocker (like Flomax) that causes retrograde ejaculation, or if you had a TURP, or if you had a blockage of your ejaculatory duct.

Can always count on you TA. Thanks for all you do around these parts.

I do take Flomax now but this occured just prior to being DX'd. I was wondering if the disease itself or the prostate being large affected it. I also have double groin hernias that I wanted the doc to tell me was reason for ED and Retro but he wouldnt buy it ;)

If I had an ejaculation it probably would give me a double groin hernia....

I have that after the prostate removal, not on Flomax, and I don't know why. The docs didn't seem concerned and neither am I.

I had retrograde ejaculation for several years before my PCa diagnosis. I (perhaps foolishly) put it down to BPH or some other benign condition. Kicking myself for not having acted sooner. In fact, if it weren't for a friend having tests for PCa I probably wouldn't even have gone for tests when I did.

yeah thats interesting huh - I also in hindsight should have done something sooner. I had tail bone pain and put it down to dirtbike this, hocket that, getting old...blah blah blah

@John510185 - when you say "had" do you mean you no longer have retrograde or?
