Xtandi and diarrhea

Hello beautiful warriors,

Has anyone experienced diarrhea from Xtandi? My husband started taking Xtandi and unfortunately, he developed diarrhea. He has since stopped taking Xtandi, but diarrhea has not resolved. I am wondering if anyone has insight oh how long the diarrhea lasts before resolving?

To be honest I have been on Xtandi for 4 years and not experienced diarrhoea. Hopefully your Dad will recover.

Regarding your dear husband's Diarrhea (From Xtandi's online list of side effects).

Report diarrhea to your doctor right away. Your doctor may suggest you take over-the-counter anti-diarrheal medicine to help, but it’s also important to stay hydrated. Sports drinks, water and bouillon may be recommended.

have you tried a quality probiotic? Some medications kill the good bacteria in the gut. That’s the first thing I go for with digestive tract issues. God bless.
