Hello everyone,

Some news….

I will soon have 3 years of treatment with Erleada and 3 years and 6 months of Enantone

PSA undetectable since taking Erleada, my oncologist is considering a therapeutic break at the end of the year, I don’t know what to think of this proposal.

Are there any members who have tried this break and how long

can we hope for before a relapse?

Courage to you all

As we all know, everyone’s story is different. In my case I was on Orgovyx for almost 2 years and Zytiga for ~20 month. PSA was undetectable for 18 months before I started a “holiday” in October 2023. As of last week PSA was still undetectable and Testosterone was 412. My Qol has greatly improved and will remain on my “holiday “ until something changes.

Thank you very much for your answers, I am a little disturbed to leave a treatment that works to go into the unknown but it is true that it must be nice to have fewer side effects...

@graal05 I am of the camp that initial aggressive treatment as you and I had, with undetectable PSA for a long time, it is not a bad bet to see if that will persist sans ADT. But at the same time, you should have been and continue to be exercising a lot, aerobics, resistance and cardio daily if possible, and see to your bone density health. Best of luck to both of us.
