CTscan for newly found high risk Prostate cancer also came back with a SUV of 21.6 for Paritod gland and 21.8 for Prostate gland. Bones clear. Anyone have a high Paritod SUV on their scan and did it end up being cancer also?

Everyone has high PSMA-ligand uptake on the parotid (salivary) glands. It is because salivary glands express PSMA too -it has nothing to do with prostate cancer.
